Our Staff

Growing up as a Camp Fire Girl I spent many days camping and hiking. My experience at summer camps and trips to the mountains created my love of nature. Being a teacher I had always hoped that I could teach students about nature and create an appreciation for the world around us. For years I followed many nature blogs and studied preschools in the UK.  I wanted to slow the pace of childhood and yet still educate.  About a decade ago I stumbled upon an article about how children in the UK were attending Forest Preschools. These schools abandoned the rote style of teaching and exposed them to learning in nature. I was excited and wanted to bring this style of teaching to Arizona.

Over the years working in commercial and private childcare programs my heart yearned for classrooms filled with nature and exposure to the outdoors. I thought if I could bring something like a forest school to the desert I would. It took over 14 years but now my dream for your child has come true. Your child deserves a unique and special experience that creates a love of learning in nature and beyond.

Hello I am Ms. Paige. I graduated in 1999 with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have taught Kindergarten for four years at Phoenix Christian school.  I took a few years break to stay at home to raise my babies. Well my babies are growing up now and I have missed teaching.  I wanted to get back to working with young students doing what I love. My daughter went to Camp STEM Club and graduated over a year ago. She loved it so much, matter of fact it was a magical experience for her. I thought I want to be a part of this magical yet natural/organic style of teaching. I then reached out to Mrs. Carolyn and asked if I could join her team and the rest is history.

Mrs. Laura is from New York and grew up as a dancer and a gymnast. She graduated from LIHSA with a major in dance followed by 10 years as a professional dancer.  She has 18 years of experience teaching gynmastics and pom. Mrs. Laura started working with us as a dance teacher for our students almost a decade ago. After the birth of her first child she reached out and asked if her son could join us. We were thrilled to have him. Soon after he graduated it was time for his sister to be a part of our STEM family. Mrs. Laura reached out once again but this time she wanted to teach our students about the STEM subjects and nature. Her love of nature and a style of teaching that allows for patience and kindness perfectly blends perfectly with our young students and families alike.
